Arthritis is meant by but inflammation of the joints. Arthritis is of several types. The basic feature in all types of arthritis is intense pain in the joints. There are several home remedies for treating the pain. Take one Brinjal (eggplant). Fry and ground about 2 tablespoon of castor oil. Add some coriander, cumin, turmeric, garlic and salt into the mixture. Take 1 tsp once daily PO for two to three months.
One tsp good quality honey along with two tsp lemon juice should be taken with 10ml of warm milk or water. It can keep away arthritic pain for several months. Add ½ tsp turmeric powder into 200 ml of warm milk or warm water. Take it once daily for two to three months.
Mix thoroughly equal amounts of Gugglu, Mahamas oil, Aniseed oil, pinch of Camphor and Menthol. Rub it over the affected site twice or thrice daily for 3 months. It is a very good pain reliever. One raw clove of garlic every morning for two to three months keeps the arthritic pain away for a long time. It is better to fry the garlic a little in Ghee (clarified butter) or castor oil before consuming. One tablespoon of fruit pectin along with a 100 ml of Cranberry juice in the morning fo9r three months can reduce the pain significantly.
Omit all the dry calorie giving foods from your diet. Another method is to dissolve 4 tsp Blackstrap molasses into one quart of Cranberry juice. It is recommended to take 200 ml of the mixture every morning in empty stomach. Take equal parts of cream of tartar, Epsom salt and ground Rhubarb root. Mix it thoroughly. Take ¼ tsp of the mixture after each major meal.
If you are suffering from acute pain, take one part of Kerosene oil and two parts of pure olive oil. Mix it and rub the mixture over the pain area. You will surely get relief within 10-15 minutes. Mix one tablespoon of Cod liver oil to 200 ml of orange juice. Take it before going to bed. Continue it for two months.
